BellaAssist is an assistive-technology and capability-building tool, designed to be used in partnership with your Support Coordinator, Plan Manager, or as part of your self-managed plan. It helps you describe your support needs in your own words, understand the evidence in your plan, read your plan in language you can use, and take your record with you. You decide what's in it. You decide who sees it. You keep it.
Many NDIS applications are partially or fully rejected because the evidence didn't tell the participant's story clearly, not because the participant didn't qualify. BellaAssist exists to close that gap.

The way your support needs are described is at the heart of how the scheme decides what you need. With the move toward functional-capacity assessments, the way you describe what you can and can't do matters more than ever. Only you can describe your life from the inside.
My Voice is your space inside BellaAssist to describe your daily life, your strengths, and the support you need, in plain language. It gives you prompts so you don't miss the things that matter for your plan. You write it. You change it. You decide who sees it. When it's time for a plan review, your story is already there, in your words, ready to share with your SC, your OT, your Plan Manager, or the NDIA.

Read your plan in language that fits you
NDIS plans contain important information about your supports, but they're often written in language that's hard to read, full of acronyms and clinical terms. If reading is hard, English isn't your first language, or you process information differently, the plan that's meant to support you can be hard to use.
Easy Read English turns your plan into clear sentences, simple words, and supporting visuals. The same information — yours, intact — in a form you can actually act on. You can switch between the original and the Easy Read version whenever you want. Both are always there.

Show why you need what you need
Your plan works best when the evidence behind it is complete. Reports from your OT, letters from your GP, notes from your therapist. Together they describe how your disability affects your daily life. With the scheme moving toward standardised functional-capacity evidence, having a clear, well-rounded picture matters more than ever.
The document and evidence assistant in BellaAssist helps you understand the evidence in your plan, in plain language. It shows you what's there, what's strong, and where extra information from your practitioner team might help. The handover pack is everything BellaAssist holds for you, exported into a clear, structured record you own and you control. Take it with you to a new SC. Share it with your AAT advocate or legal representative. Keep it for your next plan review. The pack travels with you.
